Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use the Legal Prop Tech website or the Legal Prop Tech Android app. By creating an account, ordering a service or listing a property, you agree to them.

Who we are

Legal Prop Tech is run by ATP LEGAL PROP TECH PRIVATE LIMITED. In these terms, we, us and our mean ATP LEGAL PROP TECH PRIVATE LIMITED, and you means the person using our services. Our contact details are at the end of these terms and on the Contact us page.

Who can use our services

You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding contract under Indian law. Our services are offered in India, for property in India.

Your account

• You can sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code sent by SMS, or with your email address and a password. The same account works on the website and in the app.
• Keep your phone, your email account and your password secure, and never share a sign-in code. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
• Give accurate information, including your name and contact details, and keep it up to date.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

Legal services

• When you order a service, you give us details about the property, record or matter. We act on the details you give us, so check them before you pay. Wrong or missing details can delay the work or change the result.
• Many services depend on government offices, such as the Sub-Registrar office, the revenue office, the local body or a court, and on other third parties. Their timelines, records and decisions are outside our control. The timelines on our pages are estimates.
• We do not guarantee that any office will issue a document, approve an application or decide in a particular way.
• The price shown for a service is a fixed price for our work. Government fees, stamp duty, registration charges and court fees are extra where they apply.
• Our advice is based on the facts and documents you share with us at the time.

How we deliver services is explained in our Shipping and Delivery Policy. Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Payments

Prices are in Indian rupees. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card or UPI details. We only receive the payment status and a payment reference from Razorpay.

Our team never asks for your UPI PIN, card details or a sign-in code. Do not share them with anyone, even someone who says they are from us.

If money has left your account but your order or listing still shows as unpaid, contact us with the order number or listing code.

Property listings

• List a property only if you own it or have the permission of the owner to list it.
• The details, price and photos must be accurate, current and of that property.
• Our team reviews every listing before it is published. We may ask for changes, reject a listing, or remove a live listing that breaks these terms or that we believe is misleading.
• Listing plans, their prices and their listing periods are as shown when you choose a plan. A listing stays live for the period of its plan, counted from the day it is published. You can close your listing at any time.
• We do not publish the contact phone number you give for a listing. Our team uses it to reach you about the listing and about enquiries.
• We are not a party to any sale, purchase or rent agreement made through the marketplace. Buyers and tenants should check the property and its title before paying any money. Our Title Check service can help with this.

Enquiries

When you send an enquiry about a listing, our team receives your name, mobile number and message. We pass the enquiry to the owner, or contact both of you to connect you.

We do not guarantee that an owner will reply, or that a sale or rental will happen.

Acceptable use

When you use our website or app, do not:

• give false information or pretend to be someone else;
• post anything illegal, misleading or offensive, or anything you do not have the right to share;
• send spam, or collect the personal details of other users;
• try to get into accounts or systems you are not allowed to use, disrupt the service, or copy content with automated tools.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

Intellectual property

The Legal Prop Tech name and logo, our website, our app and the content we create belong to ATP LEGAL PROP TECH PRIVATE LIMITED or to those who license them to us. Do not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

You keep the rights to the details and photos you post. By posting a listing, you allow us to show it, and to adapt and share it on our website, our app and our social media pages to promote the listing.

Limitation of liability

We do our work with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for delays, refusals or errors of government offices or other third parties, for losses caused by wrong or incomplete information given to us, or for any deal between users of the marketplace.

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a service or a plan is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of profit or opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian law that cannot be limited by a contract, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Ending your use and deleting your account

You can stop using our services at any time. To delete your account, use the Delete your account page. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

We may suspend or close your account, or remove a listing, if you break these terms or the law, or if the law requires it. Orders already paid for are handled under the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Complaints and Grievance Officer

For a complaint about a service, a listing or how we handle your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer. If you email, put Grievance in the subject line, and give the order number (it starts with LPT) or the listing code (it starts with PR) if the complaint is about one. We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days of receiving it.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh, have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the website or in the app. If you keep using our services after a change, the updated terms apply.
