Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what personal data ATP LEGAL PROP TECH PRIVATE LIMITED collects through the Legal Prop Tech website and the Legal Prop Tech Android app, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. In this policy, we and us mean ATP LEGAL PROP TECH PRIVATE LIMITED.
We handle personal data in line with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect and why
- Account details. Your mobile number, and your email address if you sign in with email. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in a protected (hashed) form that we cannot read. Your name and home state, which you add to your profile. We use these to create your account, sign you in, show services and listings for your state and contact you.
- Service requests. The details you enter in a request form, such as the property location, survey or document numbers and the names of owners, buyers, sellers or family members, and any document copies you share with our team. We use them to do the work you ordered and to keep a record of it. If you give us details about other people, make sure you are allowed to share them.
- Orders and payments. What you ordered, the price and the status of the order. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment status and a payment reference from Razorpay, not your card or UPI details.
- Property listings. The property details, price, location and photos you add, and a contact phone number. The details and photos are published when the listing goes live. The contact phone number is used only by our team and is never published.
- Enquiries. When you ask about a listing: your name, mobile number and message. Our team sees them and uses them to connect you with the owner, and may share your name and number with the owner for that purpose.
- Account deletion requests. Your mobile number, the reason if you give one, and how the request was handled.
- Your state. We show services and listings for the state you choose. If you allow it, the app uses the location of your phone once to find your state; the location service on your phone turns the position into a state name. The website can do the same with your browser's location: the page works out the state on your device and does not send your position to us or to anyone else. Otherwise the website suggests a state from the approximate region of your internet connection, which Cloudflare works out from your IP address. We save only the state you choose, not your position or region: in your browser, and on your profile when you are signed in. You can change it at any time, and change the location permission in your phone or browser settings.
- Messages to us. If you use the contact form, email or call us, we keep your name, mobile number, email address if you give it, your messages and notes of the conversation to help with your request.
- Technical data. On the website, cookies that keep you signed in and remember the state you chose, and, stored in your browser, your theme choice (light or dark) and whether the site has already asked for your location. In the app, settings such as language and theme stored on your phone. Our hosting providers keep server logs, such as IP address, browser or device type and the time of each request, to run the service and keep it secure.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on our website or in our app. If this changes, we will update this policy.

How we protect it
Data sent between your device and our services is encrypted in transit. Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it for their work, through role-based permissions. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and do not reach our systems. No system is completely secure, but if a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When your account is deleted, we delete your profile, your listings and your enquiries. We keep order and payment records for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounts, without linking them to your account. We also keep a record of the deletion request.
