Patta / Chitta
The patta details of your land from the revenue records: pattadar name, khata number, survey number and extent.
What you get
Patta is the revenue record that names the holder of a piece of land, called the pattadar, with the khata number, survey number and extent. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the holder also gets a pattadar passbook.
You may need the patta details to buy or sell land, for a loan, for a mutation or an inheritance, or to check that the record is in the right name.
