Mortgage Deed

A mortgage deed drafted for a loan secured on your property, for a bank or a private lender.

What you get

A mortgage deed gives a property as security for a loan. It records the loan amount, the property, and the terms for repaying the loan and releasing the property.

Share the lender, the loan amount, the property details and the owner's name. Our team drafts the deed from the property documents and the loan terms, sends it to you to review and tells you what is needed for registration. If your lender has its own format, share it with us.

Stamp duty and registration charges are extra. They depend on the state and the loan amount.

Questions

My bank has its own mortgage papers. Do I still need this?

Maybe not. Many banks prepare their own documents. This service suits private loans, or a bank that asks you to bring a drafted deed.

What happens when the loan is repaid?

The lender releases the mortgage, usually through a release deed. Once that is registered, the Encumbrance Certificate shows the release.

Are stamp duty and registration charges included?

No. They are paid to the government and are extra.
