Gift Deed
A gift deed drafted to transfer property to a family member or another person, ready for registration.
What you get
A gift deed transfers a property from one person to another without payment, often within a family. A gift of land or a building must be made by a registered deed, signed by the giver and attested by two witnesses.
Share the names of the giver and the receiver, the relationship, the property details and its value. Our team drafts the deed from the property documents, sends it to you to review and tells you what to bring for registration.
Stamp duty and registration charges are extra. They depend on the state and the property, and can be lower for gifts within the family.
